M77 Select: Agostino Iacurci
Agostino Iacurci (b.1986) studied Visual Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome.
In his practice, he employs various media including painting, mural, sculpture, drawing, and installation. Often driven by a site-specific attitude, Iacurci collects heterogeneous materials, reworking and manipulating them. He does this to generate images and visions in which he freely narrates and associates cultural history, personal memories, literary references, and vernacular tales.

We are happy to share some of the installation views of MARCO PETRUS: IN-MOTION, the artist’s first solo exhibition at the gallery.

Featuring around seventy previously unseen works, the show draws inspiration from the generative motion—both architectural and human—depicted in Bambina che corre sul balcone by Giacomo Balla (1912, Galleria d’Arte Moderna, Milan).
The exhibition, curated by Sharon Hecker, takes its cue from the celebrated Futurist painting to develop a series of reflections that, through progressive variations, lead the composition toward an increasingly abstract synthesis of sequences of colorful, rhythmic, and sinuous lines.

M77 Viewing Room- Emilio Isgrò: The Voice of Naples
The exhibition Canto Napoli, presented in Naples, offers a powerful and poetic dialogue between Isgrò’s practice and the cultural, historical, and symbolic identity of the city. Naples, with its layered narratives, contradictions, and vitality, becomes both subject and medium within the artist’s work.
By removing, he reveals; by concealing, he exposes. In the context of Naples — a city that has always negotiated between excess and absence, noise and silence—this artistic language finds a particularly resonant and compelling form.

Odili Donald Odita is part of “Giants: Art from the Dean Collection of Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys” at The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, on view until August 9 , 2026.

Organized by the Brooklyn Museum in 2024, Giants: Art from the Dean Collection of Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys features 37 Black American and diasporic artists from Africa, Europe, the United States, and the Caribbean whose monumental works tower in both scale, conceptual depth and technical skill.

Odili Donald Odita sees color and abstraction as vehicles of change. His immense, kaleidoscopic canvases stem from his desire to use abstraction to discuss issues of belonging. As seen here, the artist’s ongoing experimentation with colors, shapes, and composition invites viewers to see beyond their expectations: horizontal and vertical patterns of warm and cool tones play with depth and rhythm, embedding multilayered complexity into a visibly flat painting. Within the resulting composition, a limitless world unfolds that excites the imagination.

M77 News: A major exhibition dedicated to Nino Migliori, one of the most influential and visionary figures in Italian photography, at Fondazione Ferrero.

Curated by Denis Curti, the exhibition “NINO MIGLIORI [100] UNA RICERCA SENZA FINE” The exhibition spans over seventy years of creative exploration and showcases the free and experimental style of an artist who has transformed photography into a living medium, a space for inquiry, a poetic gesture and a form of thought.
From his famous ‘Muri’ series to his off-camera experiments, from manipulated Polaroids to installations, each work challenges the way we view and interpret reality, combining memory, material and imagination.

As he approaches his 100th birthday, Nino Migliori continues his tireless, open-minded and vibrant exploration, which continues to redefine the possibilities of seeing.
