⭐ 𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐙𝐈 𝐄 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐈 ⭐

Tutte le storie hanno un inizio.
𝑻𝒖𝒕𝒕𝒆 𝒍𝒆 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒐 𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒉𝒆 𝒖𝒏𝒂 𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒆.

Molto spesso non sappiamo quanto sarà lungo il tempo tra questi due eventi né come faremo a riconoscerli.
𝐼𝑛𝑖𝑧𝑖𝑜 𝑒 𝐹𝑖𝑛𝑒 𝑠𝑜𝑛𝑜 𝑑𝑒𝑖 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑐𝑒𝑠𝑠𝑖 𝑠𝑖𝑎 𝑑𝑖𝑙𝑎𝑡𝑎𝑡𝑖 𝑐ℎ𝑒 𝑝𝑢𝑛𝑡𝑢𝑎𝑙𝑖.
Nasce una scintilla, un desiderio che diventa pensiero e poi azione.

✨Non sappiamo dire con esattezza quando è nata la scintilla che si sarebbe poi chiamata CorPoetica, ma sappiamo dire quando è diventata azione: lunedì 1 ottobre 2018.

𝑄𝑢𝑒𝑠𝑡𝑖 6 𝑎𝑛𝑛𝑖 𝑠𝑜𝑛𝑜 𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑡𝑖 𝑐𝑎𝑟𝑖𝑐ℎ𝑖 𝑑𝑖 𝑣𝑖𝑡𝑎, 𝑖𝑛𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑡𝑟𝑖, 𝑝𝑒𝑟𝑠𝑜𝑛𝑒, 𝑗𝑎𝑚, 𝑝𝑒𝑟𝑐𝑒𝑧𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑖, 𝑠𝑒𝑛𝑠𝑎𝑧𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑖, 𝑖𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑎𝑧𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑖.
Abbiamo incontrato tantissime persone, quasi sicuramente abbiamo incontrato anche te che stai leggendo queste parole.
O forse non ci siamo mai incontrate e ci hai sostenuto da lontano.

Si, abbiamo sentito tanto sostegno in questi anni: siamo grate e riconoscenti per quello che abbiamo ricevuto. Abbiamo anche dato tanto: a volte con fatica, molto spesso con estrema gioia e fiducia.

We will make a "journey" through the movement world that will offer different points of view on the whole landscape. We'll see the dance from the perspective of:

Phrasing - Surfing time in space through memory and imagination.

Vertical Space - the compositional aspects of developmental movement

Proximity - space between is never smooth.

Intention/tension - effort and action

Addressing levels - the dance is an invitation to be watched by whom, where or what?

Directive and Adaptive phases of movement - most of the dance is the indirect consequence of activated desire.

Compositional dispositions towards space - social space, architecture, weather systems

Action. Reaction Interaction - patterns of responsiveness

Major/Minor focus - Where's the attention? How and why does it move?

Patterns of touch - bridging, sliding, rolling, travelling, expanding/contracting

The trunk - where we first check for "meaning".

Limbs - partial patterns and total patterns, gestures point inwards.

An invitation to Contact Improvisation Dancers

Steve Batts writes:
" I have been dancing Contact Improvisation for over forty years and teaching it for almost as long. It remains a deep love. The "poetic movement" approach to dance has been deeply influenced by my experiences in Contact Improvisation as well as many other things. My view of Contact Improvisation has developed to the point where my definition of it is "the exploration of the limits and possibilities of dancing in close proximity with poetic intent, without a plan, and the uncovering of the effect that this exploration has on the dance at a distance". This definition allows me to connect the field of Contact Improvisation to the wider field of dancing in general. For me it enriches my experience and hopefully that of people who watch me dancing.
