Per la prima volta nell’ottobre del 2013 abbiamo proposto alla città di Milano un festival che ha consentito al pubblico milanese di incontrare il ballo, la musica e la cultura swing degli anni 30 e 40 nella sua forma più autentica e originale. Con la stessa energia siamo tornati con le successive edizioni che hanno riscosso un crescente successo, con ben tre giorni di lezioni di Lindy Hop, Shag e Solo Jazz, per ballerini di ogni livello ed esigenza, nell’ormai già mitico Spirit de Milan. Se la cultura Swing, la musica e lo stile dei ruggenti anni 30 e 40 ti incuriosiscono o sono già la tua passione, Swing’n’Milan è un appuntamento al quale non puoi mancare! Qui troverai musica live ogni sera, eleganza e divertimento con i corner di vintage styling, buon cibo ed esibizioni memorabili di ballerini italiani e internazionali.

SWING'N'MILAN - 10th Edition

Swing’n’Milan is a festival celebrating Swing music and dance, dedicated to special people who gather together for a four-days intensive, immersive and incredible experience! We are delighted to welcome people from all over the world for a four nights festival offering top level concerts, entertainment and vintage culture, in the already legendary location Spirit de Milan. In 2013 we have proposed to the city of Milan the first edition of the festival, which has introduced our audience to the unique and authentic Swing music and culture. The following six editions have been even more successful and the Milanese people have thoroughly appreciated them – well, let’s say it: they went crazy for them! We’re now almost ready for the 8th edition – an event not to be missed with several workshops of lindy hop, balboa and solo jazz lessons for all tastes and levels, in the magical location of the Spirit de Milan! If you’re curious to experience the swing culture, the music and the style of the roaring 30s and 40s, taste good food and enjoy a top level entertainment, this festival is for you.

Sunday night 11 Oct at Swing’n’Milan, the festival’s final “relaxed” evening… except the dance floor didn’t get the memo and is going full speed with the Monday Orchestra. You’ve got your ticket already, right? The party pass for all three nights is on our website too, just saying…
Remember, this year new location… will be at Superstudio village, via Negrotto 59, Milan!

Domenica sera, ultima serata in relax del festival… ma la pista non lo sa e balla comunque, senza sosta, con la Monday Orchestra. Il biglietto ce l’avete già, vero? Sul sito trovate anche il party pass per non perdervi nemmeno una delle tre serate.

Here we are! Our new temporary home for the 14th Swing'n'Milan is officially... SuperStudio Village!
This venue is still in the Bovisa neighborhood, in north Milan, the very same area where Spirit de Milan was located and we assure you that the atmosphere and spirit of the event remain close to what you know and love.
All camp activities and evening parties will be held at this new venue.
Same vibes, same energy, new address: Via Michele Pericle Negrotto 59.

Hey everyone! As many of you already know, Spirit de Milan has been closed since June because the lease expired and wasn’t renewed by the property.
But over the past two months, we’ve been working non-stop behind the scenes to find a new home…and we’re thrilled to announce that the 14th edition of Swing’n’ Milan is officially confirmed!
We’re staying right here in Bovisa, in a brand-new location that, from October 9th to 11th, will transform into a village for swing dancers from all over. Get ready…this is shaping up to be another unmissable edition!
Ticket and camp sales reopen on Thursday, August 6th.
Don’t miss your chance and grab your spot before it’s gone!

ciao, come molti di voi sapranno, Spirit de Milan è chiuso da giugno perché la proprietà dello stabile non ha rinnovato il contratto di affitto. In questi due mesi abbiamo lavorato senza sosta per trovare una nuova location e siamo felici di annunciarvi che la 14esima edizione di Swing’n’ Milan è confermata! Sarà sempre in Bovisa in una location nuovissima che dal 9 all’11 ottobre diventerà un villaggio per i ballerini provenienti da ogni dove. Sarà un’altra edizione imperdibile!
Giovedì 6 agosto riapriremo le vendite dei biglietti per le serate e dei camp. Vi consigliamo di non mancare!

The 1930s called, and the Millennials’ Orchestra actually picked up. Devoted to the Swing Era, they made the bold life choice of playing music from their great-grandparents’ era…and honestly, they were right to do it. Led by clarinetist Lorenzo Baldasso and made up of some of Northern Italy’s most talented young jazz musicians, their mission is to prove that Benny Goodman and Artie Shaw never really went out of style. Listeners, musicians and dancers: consider yourselves warned. They will be with us on Saturday night, Oct 10th !

Anni 30, ma make it fresh. La Millennials’ Orchestra è dedicata alla Swing Era… eh sì, hanno scelto di suonare la musica dei bisnonni, ma con una classe tale che è impossibile non dargli ragione. Il bandleader Lorenzo Baldasso e i giovani talenti jazz del Nord Italia hanno una missione: dimostrare che Benny Goodman e Artie Shaw erano, fondamentalmente, inarrivabili.
