Dietro ogni fotografia in mostra c'è un lavoro che non si vede. L'archivio LIFE custodisce milioni di negativi. Selezionarli è solo l'inizio. Poi bisogna stamparli: scegliere la carta, calibrare i toni, restituire a immagini di settant'anni fa la forza che avevano quando furono scattate. Come si stampa LIFE?

Dario Mitidieri, a master of photojournalism, is celebrated for his unique ability to document real life without filters, truly revealing the soul of a place.
This powerful shot, captured in India in 1996, is the essence of street play—a universal scene that matters deeply because in India, cricket is the national sport. It’s a cultural, social, and historical force that defines identity and brings people together on every corner. The scene explodes with energy: the street perspective draws your eye to the children, all intensely focused on the batter in the foreground. This passion for the game creates a bubble of pure concentration.
Mitidieri uses black and white, his signature visual language, to create a timeless narrative that emphasizes the message's raw authenticity. The dynamic composition, contrasting the close-up action with the street's depth, celebrates the human spirit's ability to find meaning in shared moments.
Collecting Dario Mitidieri means gaining deep insight into the world of reportage photography. His silver gelatin prints, produced in limited edition and signed by the author, share the artist's unique vision, documenting the lightness of the moment with profound human insight.

Elliott Erwitt, the undisputed master of humanist photography, is celebrated for immortalizing the spontaneity and irony of the human condition.
This iconic shot, "USA, Santa Monica, California, 1955," was immediately recognized as a piece that transcended reportage and street photography, much like the rest of his artwork. Its emotional power led to its first publication in the December 24, 1956, issue of LIFE Magazine, as part of the feature titled "People in Love" (on page 149), a selection of Elliott Erwitt images dedicated to the theme.
The original caption accompanying the image in LIFE Magazine read: "The rear-view mirror reflects a pair of newlyweds in love, enchanted, in a car parked by the sea," confirming the spontaneity and pure romance of the scene. The use of the round rear-view mirror is not only an expedient to isolate the couple but a key element of the composition.
The sharp focus is concentrated on the mirror, which frames the kiss and an emotion. This defined intimacy is masterfully enhanced by the blurring on the vast atmospheric Ocean Pacific and the sun dramatically setting behind the clouds, creating a breathtaking visual and dimensional contrast.
Collecting an Elliott Erwitt fine art print means sharing a piece of history and memory from a world of recollections, and having direct contact with the legacy of a legendary photographer. His silver gelatin prints, signed by the author, convey the artist's unique vision, which unites lightness with profound human insight.

Lorenzo Vitturi is an artist whose visual research explores the relationship between ephemeral forms and raw matter. He is currently exhibiting an art installation at the Quadriennale d'Arte di Roma.
It is with these prerogatives that the collaboration with Santoni was born, leading to the creation of an extraordinary photographic series, titled "Forms and Matter," which, besides sculptures, presents a group of photographs of ephemeral sculptures for the Santoni SS26 collection.
This series shows a powerful visual dialogue between the temporary and the eternal. The images capture Santoni's Origine leather in its most elemental state—smooth, draped and suspended, or submerged—in relation to the sea swell, the sun and its shadows, and are captured in its profound relationship with the lagoon and Adriatic environment.
This unique representation—where Santoni's raw material is shaped by the water, air, and light of the Venetian Lagoon—reveals a profound act of craftsmanship and artistic innovation. The entire collaboration reaffirms Santoni's savoir-faire as an act of high art.
PEP Artists represents Lorenzo Vitturi and supports him in his collaborations with brands. A special thanks go to his team: Serena Boccanegra, Elena Ruele and Giorgio Schirato.

f31 represents the convergence of extreme craftsmanship and a hyper-contemporary vision of portraiture in antithesis to the hyper-digital era. Their work stands out for the use of a unique process language and aesthetic, elevating the portrait to a work of art.
Francesco Gabbani, artist and singer, and a judge on the latest X Factor, is immortalized here through the lens of f31. The image is a striking example of the uniqueness of the f31 style, in which Gabbani is presented with an intense gaze, enveloped in an aura of electric light that goes beyond the simple search for resemblance.
This visual power is given by the f31 style and their Big Camera f31, a bespoke instrument that produces images in 61 x 61 cm format. The shot is a direct positive without a negative, a process that guarantees unrepeatable authenticity, without post-production, capturing every detail with a reproduction ratio greater than 1:1. Every print is a unique piece, a definitive art object.
This process goes beyond technique; it is an exclusive f31 language. Why not create a gallery with the other judges as well and build a hall of fame for the present and for the future?

Daido Moriyama is arguably one of the most influential figures in contemporary photography. His work, characterized by its grainy, high-contrast aesthetic (are-bure-boke – rough, blurry, out-of-focus), captures the raw, often visceral undercurrents of post-war Japanese urban life.
His iconic stray dog photograph is rightly considered his powerful manifesto, like a self-portrait of the artist himself, roaming and marginalized, embodying the very spirit of the outlier. Moriyama’s lens frequently turned to other creatures of the street, including cats.
This featured photograph is a stunning portrait of a cat that embodies the photographer's spirit. Set against a deep, enveloping black, the cat's face is rendered with Moriyama's signature high-contrast grain. Its intense, direct gaze, paired with the uncanny detail of its missing eye, transforms a simple animal encounter into a profound psychological moment. This image is a powerful reflection of the artist's philosophy: finding beauty and truth in the transient, the peripheral, and the imperfect.
Collecting a fine art print by Daido Moriyama is acquiring a piece of the legacy of a legendary photographer. The prints are silver gelatin prints on baryta paper and are signed. They carry the full visceral impact of the artist’s unique vision.
