Hidden among fruits and leaves, a white unicorn emerges from a lush vegetal landscape. Poised between myth and symbol, this extraordinary creature embodied ideals of purity and nobility, securing a privileged place in the European visual culture. Its presence in this 16th Century tapestry is a reminder that furnishing textiles were far more than decorative objects: they were woven narratives, where nature, symbolism and wonder intertwined.
