Cardi Gallery is deeply saddened by the passing of Italian artist Remo Salvadori.

Over the course of his career, Salvadori developed a distinctive artistic language, exploring themes of time, energy, balance and perception through works of profound conceptual and material sensitivity.

The images featured here document Nel momento, the artist’s solo exhibition held at Cardi Gallery, Milan, in 2007.

Cardi Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of the exhibition “Marco Bagnoli. Janua Coeli”, on view at our Ibiza seasonal space until the end of June.

Janua Coeli» —“the gate to heaven”— brings together six newly produced sculptural works in which light, matter, and space intertwine in an exploration of the visible and the intangible. The exhibition is conceived as a threshold: a place of transition where aesthetic experience evolves into a more introspective dimension.

Today we celebrate the birthday of Jannis Kounellis, a pioneering figure of Arte Povera whose work continues to hold a strong and thoughtful presence.

Kounellis redefined the language of contemporary art by bringing raw materials into dialogue with history, memory, and space. His practice challenged conventions and invited us to experience art as something alive, physical, and deeply human.

On this day, we honor his enduring legacy and the profound impact of his vision.

Cardi Gallery is pleased to celebrate the opening of Anni luce, the major solo exhibition by Marco Tirelli at Palazzo Esposizioni, Rome.
Curated by Mario Codognato, the exhibition unfolds as a single, immersive cycle across the museum’s galleries, bringing together forty-two paintings conceived specifically for the occasion. Each work, while autonomous, forms part of a continuous visual and mental sequence.
Through luminous geometries, shadows and symbolic forms, Tirelli constructs what can be described as a “theatre of memory”: an atlas of images where fragments of cinema, literature and art history intertwine with inner visions, reflecting on perception, time and the nature of seeing.

Today marks the opening of the inaugural edition of Art Basel Qatar.
Cardi Gallery is delighted to participate with a large-scale installation by Jannis Kounellis.
Originally conceived in 2003 as a site-specific work, Senza titolo presents a vertical sequence of suspended weighing scales supporting fragile arrangements of found objects. A recurring element in Kounellis’ oeuvre, the scale operates as a poetic device through which balance, chance, and material presence evoke histories of movement, trade, and cultural exchange.
Through fragmentation and juxtaposition, the installation opens a space beyond narrative, where objects retain their historical and symbolic weight, inviting reflection shaped by sensibility and memory.
