The Don Diego Trio
“Don” Diego Geraci, after 20 years of continuous activity with the Adels, decided to put together his own trio, where the various musical influences, that have characterized his style, can merge in a unique show. So rockabilly, country, western swing, blues and rock and roll meet the typical “Italian taste” of the 45-years old guitarist from Sicily. The sound that came out is a mix of classic rockabilly, sixties country and h***y tonk. They have toured throughout Europe and the United States. They have backed artists such as Dale Watson, Bill Kirchen, Deke Dickerson, Ray Campi, Marti Brom, Carl Sonny Leyland and many others.
The song is taken from their last Album, "Road Dogs".

A long and fruitful collaboration links Retro Recording Services and the Marco Betti Trio, and they absolutely could not be absent in our RRS Sessions.

The Glad Rags
The Glad Rags are a Classic Drumless Rockabilly Trio based in Milan.
They just formed but the interest around them is growing more and more. They have a sophisticated repertoire that is never dull, and their strength lies in their vocal harmonies and duets.
They should have been only guest artists at the RRS Sessions, but...the recordings were good, and in view of their first concert we decided to release a limited edition promo cd, containing five songs. To purchase it you can write to Retro Recording Services or pick it up directly at their gigs.

Siamo altrettanto lieti di annunciare che gli artisti usciti sulla nostra etichetta invaderanno l'Europa quest'estate! E saranno presenti a una decina di Festival Rock'n'Roll. Non fatevi scappare i loro dischi perché sono quasi tutti in esaurimento!
Dal lato studio, beh, è vivo più che mai. Grazie a tutti i musicisti che ci hanno affidato le loro produzioni. Solo in questo mese sono stati suonati cinque progetti tra queste mura, tra album, ep e video. Quando le release verranno annunciate pubblicheremo le foto delle sessioni.

Retro Recording Services is a Record Label and Recording Studio specialized in 40’s & 50’s Music: Rock’n’Roll, R’n’B, Blues, Rockabilly, Country, Doo W*p, and so on.
We use original vintage US microphones and mixers and we record to tape. Our mission is to reach the sound and the vibes of the records coming from the Golden Era of American Music. It’s not just a matter of what you hear, is how you work on the songs and how you record them: all together in the same room.
We’re not trying to recreate obsessively a popular sound: we do not emulate Sun Records, Atlantic, Chess. Our goal is to sound as a label that have could been existed back in the days, but in a personal and unique way. It’s a vintage sound, but it doesn’t sound exactly like a specific label or studio. Our choice is personality.
Of course our passion is that classic 40’s and 50’s sounds, but we can offer different type of way to record and different sounding results:
One Microphone Recording: Our Speciality! All the musicians around just one microphone, straight to tape, no headphones. The mix is in the room (distances from the microphone and dynamics). This can be made with or without overdubs.
More Microphones to 1 Track: Up to 4 microphones, mixed in our Altec 1567a, recorded on a mono track.
Hybrid: Using Vintage Pres and Microphone, we can record to Pro Tools, to get the possibility of post production.
Modern Sounding: Retro Recording Services lives in a Recording Studio that produce modern music, so, if you are a Neo-Rockabilly band, you can trust us! We can get a XXI century sound.
