NXL Europe is Pleased to Announce a New International NXL European Team Championship for 2021

COVID has had such a devastating effect on all our lives this past year, but this pause has given us the time and the need to relaunch competitive paintball in Europe in a new and exciting way, giving us all something to plan and look forward to.

For the first time, the best paintball teams will compete with their peers to be crowned NXL European Team Champions in each of the five tiers (divisions) of competition. We are not reinventing the wheel; we are following where other great sports such as football and rugby have gone.

In each of the five divisions, the top three ranked teams of the 2021 season and the winner of the 2021 NXL Europe Paris event will win a birth to compete and represent not only their country but all of NXL Europe, in the Paintball Champions Cup (to be held in 2022). All qualifying teams that compete in the Paintball Champions Cup in 2022 will be guaranteed a minimum cash prize and have the chance to win a substantial share of the largest cash prize pot ever given in paintball!
In 2021, due to COVID and taking a pragmatic approach to ensure world-class paintball can be played this season, we will be holding just two qualifying rounds to determine the champions in all five divisions. This is a change from the earlier announcement that three NXL Europe events would be held in 2021.

Qualification Round One will be held in Birmingham, United Kingdom July 16 – 18, 2021, and Qualification Round Two will be held in Paris September 2 - 5, 2021. The Paris event will also incorporate the UBPF World National Championships for all sections (Men, Women, Youth, and Veteran).
