- Macchi C.205 1/72

After reshaping the cowling, sanding, and rescribing the entire nose section of the aircraft, this is how it looks. I used black Panel Line Accent Color to quickly highlight all the recessed details and assess the wanted result.

It might not be as accurate as I wished it would be, but motivation is running low lately, along with many other things I wished I took care of earlier, so I’m mainly using this kit as my own form of inner therapy, if that makes sense.

The Finemolds F-14A is a truly beautiful kit!

This kit was brought to me from Japan by a friend, and I’ll probably buy many more when I get there. The fit has been almost flawless so far, with the exception of a couple small gaps in areas that require a bit of attention when glueing.

An overall perfect kit, with the only flaw being, the missing weapons! 😔

They are sold separately though, along with mirrors, a brass pitot tube, and injection moulded seatbelts!

Finally decided to kick off a project that I know will bring me plenty of satisfaction – the 1/72 Finemolds F-14A. The Tomcat is a milestone for every modeller, and now it’s my turn!
A dear friend brought it back for me from Japan, and the quality was clear right from the box.

I started with the GRU-7 seats, testing a new method for scratch-built belts, laser-cut thanks to the amazing birthday gift from my wonderful girlfriend.
Painted entirely by hand using AK and Vallejo acrylics, they’re the perfect beginning for what promises to be an exciting build!

F-104G Starfighter “Ferrari” – Italeri 1:72

I redesigned and 3D printed both the cockpit and the J-79 Exhaust, while landing gear, pitot tube, lights and canopy are scratchbuilt. Decals are from a very old Tauro Model set (without all the issues of having to deal with old fragile decals)

F-104G Starfighter “Ferrari” – Italeri 1:72

This build was mainly a test platform to push new modeling techniques.
Although not one of my latest projects, I’m still in my photo studio frenzy, so here’s the iconic F-104G in its beautiful red livery.

I redesigned and 3D printed both the cockpit and the J-79 Exhaust, while landing gear, pitot tube, lights and canopy are scratchbuilt. Decals are from a very old Tauro Model set (without all the issues of having to deal with old fragile decals)

Messerschmitt Me 262a1/U4 - Hobby Boss 1/48

Flaps, Slats and Wheels are aftermarket by Aires. Cannon barrel by Master.
Every other detail, cables, hydraulics, antennas and wires are scratch built.

Painted using Tamiya, Gunze and Ak Interactive Paints and products.

I started this model back during the pandemic, and after 5 years, I can finally say it’s finished. It was a very long journey, and many things happened while this bird sat on the shelf of shame.
