Destinations have a funny way of becoming a main character in film. One of my favorite vintage films is Hitchcock’s “To Catch a Theif” with Grace Kelly and Carry Grant.

Its gorgeous.

Besides having two of the biggest names in cinema at the time, the film features the French Riviera as one of its main attractions. It’s the first thing i think about when the film is mentioned.

A wedding film is similar. The location of a wedding always says a lot about a couple hosting the event.

As a filmmaker, telling the story of the world surrounding a wedding often allows us to set a stage for the attributes of a couple’s love story.

A wedding for the ages will always begin with a fully immersive location that won’t soon be forgotten.

If you could start in your own movie, what would be your main setting for the film?
