She was born in Malaysia and grew up in Singapore and Australia and now lives in Rome working as an actress, and music composer. Jacelyn is an accomplished Pan Asian actress with a diverse background, including Australian and Chinese Malaysian heritage. Her portfolio boasts an impressive array of performances in Italian, Mandarin, and English across Europe. Jacelyn has graced the screens of both film and television, including Amazon's "Jack Ryan" alongside John Krasinski, the arthouse Italian film 'Body Odyssey with Julian Sands and Scandinavian TV series "Agent Hamilton," where she starred alongside Norwegian sensation Jakob Ofketbro. Jacelyn's experience extends beyond the camera's lens, having worked alongside renowned directors such as Paolo Sorrentino, Michael Hoffman and Nick Hurran, as well as acting luminaries Michael Stuhlbarg and Jude Law. Her dedication to honing her craft is evident in her rigorous approach to acting, voice work, and movement, allowing her to bring to life complex and nuanced characters on screen. She has also released two music albums ‘East to West’ an electronic downtempo album of originals and ‘Secret Change’ by FORTRESSA, an album of original Jazz Acoustic songs, and has composed music for short films and documentaries. In her spare time, she runs and manages a cultural association in Rome called Culture del Mondo (www.culturedelmondo.org) where she organizes concerts, exhibitions and festivals to promote intercultural dialog and cultural exchange.
