IL VINTAGE, LA MIA PASSIONE
Gioivo da bambina andare alle sagre con mio padre e, se alla Pesca di Beneficenza vincevamo, invece di scegliere una bambola o un dolciume, io preferivo un oggetto Vintage che le donne del paese avevano messo a disposizione della Festa. Bicchieri in cristallo, posate in ottone, cornici intarsiate... Pezzi retrò in disuso che non trovavano più interesse ma che a me emozionavano.
È così che il Vintage è entrato nella mia vita. La mia passione oggi è restituire una seconda vita a quegli oggetti ricchi di storia, dalle forme uniche e realizzati con abilità artigianale.
Il mondo della casa, la cura per "La mise en place", sono stati inizialmente il luogo in cui ho portato la mia passione: oggetti contemporanei che si mescolano con oggetti del passato. Mi piace quando un oggetto Vintage riesce a dialogare con il nuovo, quando le sue forme, i materiali e i colori si armonizzato con il presente.
Un vaso, una lampada, una scatola, uno specchio Vintage possono cambiare un angolo anonimo della casa arricchendolo di personalità e storia.
Il Vintage per me non è un ritorno al passato ma uno strumento per vivere il presente in modo emozionante. Il Vintage racconta qualcosa che vale la pena ascoltare per capire chi siamo, cosa siamo stati e, forse, cosa diventeremo.
VINTAGE, MY PASSION
As a child I enjoyed going to the festivals with my father and, if we won the charity fishing, instead of choosing a doll or a candy, I preferred a Vintage object that the women of the village had put at the disposal of the Festival. Crystal glasses, brass cutlery, inlaid frames... Retro pieces in disuse that no longer found interest but that excited me.
That's how Vintage came into my life. My passion today is to give a second life to those objects rich in history, with unique shapes and made with craftsmanship.
The world of home, the cure for "La mise en place", was initially the place where I brought my passion: contemporary objects that mix with objects from the past. I like when a Vintage object manages to dialogue with the new, when its shapes, materials and colors harmonize with the present.
A vase, a lamp, a box, a Vintage mirror can change an anonymous corner of the house enriching it with personality and history.
Vintage for me is not a return to the past but an instrument to live the present in an emotional way. The Vintage tells something that is worth listening to understand who we are, what we have been and, perhaps, what we will become.
