We are delighted to see .neun participating in the 10th edition of with a new site-specific installation unfolding along the forest path to Pilat.

Composed of more than 200 suspended glass elements, the work reveals itself gradually among the trees. Coated and engraved by subtraction, the glass panels bear texts and drawings whose visibility changes with light, weather conditions and the density of the surrounding landscape. Language itself appears through absence, requiring attention and an active form of perception.

Drawing on the intertwined histories of Laura and Enrico Fermi and their stay in Val Gardena in 1962, Neunhäuserer weaves together personal memory, scientific knowledge and the ethical implications of research in times of war. Images of nuclear fission and radiation collide with the idea of the forest as a place of refuge, giving rise to what the artist describes as a “violent garden”, where knowledge, power and responsibility become inseparable.

Yesterday we attended the opening of “Wieso Nicht”, a two-person exhibition by Arnold Holzknecht and Mirijam Heiler at Circolo Urtijëi in Ortisei.

Bringing together two distinct yet closely related practices, the exhibition explores how repetition, reduction and subtle variations can generate unexpected complexity. Holzknecht’s works and Heiler’s drawings unfold through rhythm, structure and minimal shifts, creating a dialogue that rewards careful attention and slow looking.

The exhibition was introduced by curator and writer Eva von Ingram Harpf, whose text beautifully frames the shared sensibility connecting both artistic positions.

Congratulations to Arnold Holzknecht, Mirijam Heiler and the team at Circolo Urtijëi.

“What is beyond you”, a solo exhibition by Esraa Elfeky, opens next week in Milan 💥

Bringing together a selection of drawings on tracing paper, the exhibition unfolds as a field structured through layering and perceptual displacement. The transparency of the support destabilises the image, holding it in suspension rather than allowing it to resolve.

Developed through field research between St. Catherine’s Mountain in Egypt and the Swiss Alps, the works engage with the life cycles of rare butterfly species. From this process emerge hybrid forms derived from flora and fauna, configured through repetition and variation rather than fixed representation.

The drawings operate as a serial structure in which each image remains contingent, defined in relation to others. What appears is always partial, shifting between emergence and withdrawal, requiring a sustained and attentive mode of looking.

Galleria Doris Ghetta is delighted to invite you to the opening of “Corpi Santi”, the second solo exhibition by Pietro Moretti at our venue in Ortisei.

With this new body of work, Moretti unfolds a rich and evocative painterly universe where the uncanny and the marvellous surface within the textures of contemporary urban life. Drawing from literature, history, and personal experience, the works take shape along the banks of the Tiber, particularly near its mouth at the Idroscalo di Ostia. Here, a sequence of scenes emerges in which present-day figures encounter mythological and historical presences, fruits rise from the water, artefacts resurface, and bodies continuously shift and transform.

Moving between different temporalities and states of being, this procession of images navigates a delicate balance between reality and imagination. In dialogue with the tradition of the Roman school, Moretti alternates moments of quiet, measured realism with others in which the landscape turns inward, becoming psychological and open to multiple interpretations.

The exhibition is accompanied by a curatorial text by Eleonora Aloise.
