VAHAGN HAYRAPETYAN Graduated from The P.I. Tchaikovsky Music School and The Yerevan State Conservatory as pianist and composer. Vahagn participated in many international jazz festivals such as Jazz J

amboree, St. Petersburg International Jazz Festival, Moscow vocal International Jazz Festival (in 1997, 1998 and 1999, accordingly), New Orleans Jazz Fest du Maurier, Montreal Jazz Festival etc. Vahagn has performed in concerts around the world both as a solo performer and with different ensembles, performing with many prominent jazz musicians. CHRIS BYARS is an award-winning saxophonist, composer, bandleader, conductor and educator based in New York City. He plays alto, tenor and soprano saxophones, flute and clarinet. He performs with his band, which ranges from trio to octet, and as a sideman. Chris also leads big bands and conducts orchestras. Chris is an original and elegant arranger. He arranges for vocalists and for ensembles of all sizes. Chris is currently creating an extended concert program for the WDR Big Band of Cologne, Germany, in honor of the Thelonious Monk Centennial, to be performed in March 2017. Chris was mentored by legendary arranger Don Sebesky, and has decades of experience arranging, re-orchestrating and ghost-writing.
