🇮🇹 A flag, a plane, and one of those Rome moments you can't plan
You almost miss it if you're not looking up.
Above the rooftops, the Italian flag catches the wind, red and white and green settling into a slow wave. Then a plane slides by behind it, quiet, unhurried, barely a hum against all that deep blue sky.
It lasts a second. Maybe two. But for that second, everything just lines up. Centuries of history under a flight path. An ordinary moment turning into something worth remembering.
That's the thing about Rome. It doesn't announce itself. It just waits for you to glance up at the right moment.
