Bambino al Mare, realizzata da Fiumani durante il progetto di residenza artistica a Maranola, è stata restaurata grazie al contributo di Memorie Urbane e Davide Rossillo Contemporary Art Gallery.

L’opera è accompagnata da un progetto di riciclo dei rifiuti con finalità artistica curato dagli allievi della scuola materna dell’Istituto Mater Divinae Gratiae di Gianola-Formia.

Ringraziamo l’Istituto e per aver dato nuova luce al progetto del nostro fondatore Davide Rossillo.

I recently created this original charcoal drawing for an international collective exhibition titled, “My Song” with Memorie Urbane now on show at Davide Rossillo Contemporary, Street Art Place in Italy 🇮🇹

This piece is inspired by the song, 'Zvichapzera’, the last studio recording by the late mbira queen, Chiwoniso - a song that is often drifting through my studio 🖤

Solo exhibition, curated by Davide Rossillo.

For the last project of Memorie Urbane - 2022 Edition, the halls of DR Contemporary art gallery will host a new international exhibition: "Signs of Kunst", the solo show of German artist Kunstrasen, known for his satirical and desecrating works on art and contemporary society.
We will find the most famous images from the artist's iconographic universe, reworked in a totally original key on old Italian and German metal signs and placards.

✍️ Kunstrasen is a stencil artist born in 1979 in Germany.
His name means 'artificial turf' and combines two German words, 'Kunst' and 'Rasen', meaning 'art' and 'speed' respectively. The double meaning of this pun reveals the message behind all his artistic production: a deep search for authenticity and a critical look at contemporary society and the economic system.
His peculiar style overturns the canon of classical art, playing with mainstream cultural references and questioning our globalised civilisation through an edgy satire.
