"Contemporary Flow" è un'installazione nata per la mostra "Habibi", a cura di Angelo Pantaleo, dedicata a Gaza. Sulla base della tematica della mostra abbiamo pensato a un'opera che sfruttasse il flusso delle informazioni pubblicate sui social riguardanti da un lato il genocidio e la guerra, dall'altro la speranza e la solidarietà nei confronti della popolazione palestinese. I dati scorrono in tempo reale su uno schermo e, non appena vengono pubblicati post e commenti associati che contengono le parole chiave relative al tema, due solenoidi colpiscono due corde che producono note tra di loro dissonanti, in modo da rendere visibile e udibile l'interesse mostrato in rete per ciò che sta avvenendo nel mondo.

"Contemporary Flow" is a soundart installation created for the exhibition Habibi, curated by Angelo Pantaleo and dedicated to Gaza. Based on the exhibition’s theme, we conceived an artwork that harnesses the flow of information published on social media—on the one hand regarding the genocide and the war, and on the other the hope and solidarity shown toward the Palestinian population. The data streams in real time on a screen, and whenever posts and related comments containing keywords tied to the theme are published, two solenoids strike two strings that produce two mutually dissonant pitches, making the attention shown online toward what is happening in the world both visible and audible.
