Seasoned Greetings” (DR008) marks the inception of the DE RIO split-release vinyl series. Collaborating in this inaugural installment are resident artist and Ukrainian techno luminary .

Originating from an encounter in Florence, where the duo not only shared the stage but also exchanged personal narratives, the EP delves into their unique interpretations of the techno genre.

The result is a mesmerizing collection of four tracks, characterized by hypnotic melodies, unconventional sequences, detuned synthlines, and the pulsating rhythm of raw drums. The collaboration encapsulates the essence of their artistic synergy, promising a sonic journey that captivates and transcends boundaries.

From broken beats and experimental rhythms to fast 4/4 hypnotic bangers, this will be the first of two volumes where we brought together artists and human beings we respect and with whom we have collaborated for previous releases or events. ‘Traiettorie’ are imaginary lines, new directions and possibilities that everyone can take to get out of his comfort zone. In this new ring, it is necessary to redefine the limits, to compare the universes and methods of each artist, in order to give birth to a new medium, full of diversity, imbued with the essence of each participant. 'Ranch' is Abo’s first full EP, which transports
you to a desert space where moving to the beat and following vocals & melodies is the only way to stay alive 🌵 🐎
It contains five techno tracks which combine sound elements from rave, hardcore and trance musical scenes. Kickdrums and detailed basslines are interwoven with dreamy and trancey melodies for an ep intended mainly for the dancefloor: composed by combining analog and digital instrumentation, each track has its own personality and independence, and can find its place inside any djset that needs to push boundaries and manifest pure energy, just like Abo can do!

After months of waiting, a change of pressing plant and the sudden dissolution of the physical distribution by Lobster, we are very happy to announce that from today, thanks to our lovely new distribution Chat Noir Distribution, the vinyl DE RIO 001 is finally available! It’s our first release, that came out only digitally in September 2021, an EP V/A containing a track by Abo, TOMO and Plastique01. It is now available on all webshops but if you want to buy it by hand, see you this Sunday 15 May at Giardino del Bobolino (FI) from 16:00 to 20:00 with some fresh beer and music!

⛓ 'DVRTN - Incontri' out now! ⛓

The rising techno duo from Turin DVRTN come out with their first EP called ‘Incontri’ for DE RIO. All the tracks were composed in studio after several live sessions and jams, made with only hardware instruments. The resulting sound is dense, powerful, with a few short and frenetic moments of peace. The rhythm is fast, sustained, and characterized by tribal and industrial techno influences. Improvisation guides all the composition approach, defining the evolution process of the whole EP.
You gotta check this one, you won’t regret! ⚔️
