Mellini Mosaici e Vetrate d’Arte had the honor of completing a prestigious commission for Casa Stefano Ricci, the new flagship space inaugurated by the Florentine fashion house in the heart of Singapore, at 268 Orchard Road.
Over the course of eight months, our workshop designed and created five major works of art glass, conceived to complement some of the building’s most iconic spaces: from the entrance gallery to the main hall, all the way to the large skylight that crowns the building’s summit. Each piece stems from a careful dialogue with the architecture, the light, and the Maison’s aesthetic universe, resulting in a presence that imbues the space with rhythm, depth, and identity.
The project’s ex*****on required a highly complex process, involving color research, the study of proportions, entirely hand-painted glass, assembly tests, and final installation. In this work, the Florentine artisan tradition renews its voice and opens up to an international dimension, bringing to the world a body of knowledge built on precision, sensitivity, and absolute craftsmanship.
We thank Stefano Ricci for the trust he placed in our workshop and for the quality of the dialogue that accompanied every phase of the project, making possible a result that we find particularly meaningful.
