Just a post to say YES I am alive and YES I am creating but my daughter runs the studio now so things happen on her timeline not mine 🥰✨ new works are in the mix but for now, originals are sold out, thank you all 🤗

I’ve noticed lately that the bottom-left corner and middle-right of my paintings always seem to go neglected until the end. Often I’ll step back and realize there’s a big blank spot or I’m missing some essential details and 9/10 times, it’s in one of those places. Turning 30 has me thinking on what areas of my life have blank spots in the past year and where I want to reorient my focus in the coming year…no answers yet but noodling on that ✨

Super happy with the fabric samples I got from 😍 the colors are bright, the images are great quality and there was no shrinkage after the initial wash/dry ✨ now to decide what to make out of these… 💭

I've been circling this style for a couple years now, slowly adding elements and experimenting with techniques. Abstract, maximalist florals were always at the center, as was the use of water (what can I say...a dripply flower is just so satisfying) and a broad spectrum palette of brights, neons and vibrant colors. The concept has settled-in as an independent series but after the past few months, I'm happy to say I finally feel this style can stand on its own.

To everyone who's followed along while I've been playing with bubblewrap, swirling paints and happily flicking pigments at the canvas - thanks for sticking around while I've explored and being part of the process. I'm well aware (as I'm sure are all of you) that I'll never be that artist with a singular style, but it feels good to finally niche down, a bit.
