The event: IDEA International Dance Events and Auditions

The project IDEA (International Dance Events and Auditions) wants to be a springboard for young people who want to make the Dance their profession.
Coming from all over Italy, Europe and the world, young people, from the age of 16 up to 24 years will have the opportunity to take advantage of auditions and masterclasses that will offer them the opportunity to begin their artistic career. In previous years, IDEA, has given young dancers the opportunity to obtain the following opportunities:
• 4 one-year contracts.
• 2 one-year internships
• 14 apprenticeships.
• 7 invitations to audition at different companies
• 13 admissions to professional formation programs with scholarship
• 15 admissions to professional formation programs
Our aim:
To offer young talented dancers the opportunity to:
• Get contracts (corps de ballet, half soloist and soloist), apprenticeships and internships at international dance companies
• Progressing through Masterclasses

Multiple audition for national and international dance companies: 10 Companies 1 city
In the presence of the representatives (Directors or B***et Masters) of the companies.
Candidates will be evaluated during Masterclasses and multiple auditions to obtain contracts, apprenticeships, and internships:

MULTIPLE AUDITION (accessible from 18 to 24 years of age)
Auditions unfolding on February 09th 2025
Audition 1 (B***ett Koblenz, B***et Theatre U.K., Chongquing B***et, Antonio Desiderio Management)
Audition 2 (Carabdanza, DART, Ivgi&Greben, Kinesis CDC, Opinion Public, Rame Dance Phylum)
For both auditions the schedule will be as follows:
• Registration and assignment of numbers
• 1st Round: B***et Class,
• 2nd Round: Contemporary Dance Class,
• 3rd Round: Presentation of
Audition 1: 1 variation from the classical dance repertoire or 1 contemporary dance solo (candidates' choice)
Audition 2: 1 contemporary dance solo (to be chosen by the candidates)
• 4th Round: Candidates selected for any positions in companies (contracts, apprenticeships, internships) will be called for one or more interviews with the representatives of the companies.
Stage Rehearsals
Dimensions of stage 8m x 10m
On days 7, 8 and 9 there will be time slots available for stage rehearsals of variations and contemporary dance solos
N.B. (variations or solos are chosen by the candidate)
Recipients:
• Masterclasses: from 16 to 24 years of age
• Audition: from 18 to 24 years of age
Accommodations:
Accademia Internazionale Coreutica does NOT provide travel, accommodation, and meals.
The management of the Academy has partnered with Dance Hive obtaining 30 overnight stays (30 cells) to be distributed to IDEA participants. www.dancehive.net Those interested can request information from the secretariat of the Academy. Overnight stays will be allocated on a "first come first serve" basis. Accademia Internazionale Coreutica does not assume any kind of responsibility regarding the procedures, the regulations of Dance Hive nor assumes responsibility, of any kind, for the accommodations requested by the participants.
