A picture of my mother, the beekeeper. From the series & installation Taken by the Tide, opening this Thursday 6:30 pm - in Florence.

Taken by the Tide presents a world where the familiar appears alien, and crashing waves from the rising tide pull one further out into the open sea of loneliness. At times threatening to swallow the viewer whole, the series is not completely without hope. The work seeks to find solace in the liminal place between our world and the unknown lands of eternity.

The installation is both video and stills, with an accompanying audio piece by .

More news! In what feels like a flurry of announcements, thrilled to say Taken by the Tide is opening in Florence next week.

Expanding on my recent book with .press, it’s a multimedia voyage between space and memory in search of a home that no longer exists. Video and stills are accompanied by an audio piece by .
