Se nace varias veces, 2022. Óleo sobre lienzo.
Obra seleccionada en la Bienal Nacional de pintura y grabado Alfredo Zalce, 2022. Morelia , MEX.

Esta es una obra que hice a mediados del 2022, después de un periodo en mi vida que involucró cambios tanto de residencia como de actividades. La pintura se titula "Se nace varias veces" porque era una frase que pensaba de manera recurrente en ese momento, como una manera de afirmarme a mi mismo que en cada momento de la vida uno puede volver a crear su propio destino. Sin embargo, para cada nacimiento se requiere una muerte, con todo lo que esto conlleva. El cuadro gira en torno a esa idea. Les comparto esta obra, sus detalles y un dibujo previo donde ya estaban presentes los elementos que dieron origen al cuadro.

This is a work I made in mid-2022, following a period in my life marked by changes in both residence and activities. The painting is titled Being Born Several Times because this was a phrase that repeatedly came to mind at that time, as a way of reminding myself that, at different moments in life, we can reinvent ourselves and create our own destiny.

However, every birth requires a death, with everything that this entails. The painting revolves around this idea.

I’m sharing the work, some details, and an earlier drawing in which the elements that would eventually give rise to the painting were already present.

Ha pasado tiempo desde que compartí mis últimas obras, pero con motivo de mi última exposición me siento con el entusiasmo de volver a crear y compartir mis creaciones. En los últimos tres años me he dedicado por completo a levantar , un espacio artístico en Uruapan, sin embargo, también he podido hacer algunas obras, dibujos y pinturas. Esta pintura es un retrato y un paisaje a la vez, de Mariel a quien amo, de mi gato Silvestre, que tiene una personalidad única y de la ciudad en la que nací y en la que vivo actualmente, Uruapan, en México.

It has been a while since I last shared my work, but after my recent exhibition I feel inspired to create and share again. Over the past three years, I have devoted myself almost entirely to building , an arts center in Uruapan. Even so, I have still managed to make a few paintings.

This work is both a portrait and a landscape: a portrait of Mariel, whom I love; of my cat Silvestre, whose personality is truly one of a kind; and of Uruapan, the city where I was born and where I live today, in Mexico.

Ma che gioia! Este sábado en MAMO Capodimonte Italia se inaugura una exposición con una serie de mis dibujos. El gran tour, curada por Jurji Filieri . Qué emoción e ilusión me da saber que mis obras andan rodando por el mundo.

Muchas gracias al professore Jurji Filieri por organizar la exposición y gestionar el espacio, es un gran orgullo y me siento muy feliz.

La serie de dibujos pertenecen a "El gran tour" , una mirada que atraviesa Italia. "Un cuaderno de viajes entre personas, arte, naturaleza y encuentros."

Ma che gioia! This Saturday, an exhibition featuring a series of my drawings opens in Capodimonte, Italy. The Grand Tour, curated by Jurji Filieri.

It fills me with excitement and joy to know that my work is traveling the world.

My sincere thanks to Professor Jurji Filieri for organizing the exhibition and making this opportunity possible. It is a great honor, and I couldn't be happier.

The drawings belong to The Grand Tour, a series that explores Italy through the eyes of a traveler—a visual journal of people, art, nature, and meaningful encounters.
