Today on 'Corriere della Sera', Florence Edition. Yesterday I visited the beautiful Palazzo Corsini in the centre of Florence and I got caught by a 'paparazzo' 😉.

Busy finding ways to hang up my textile artworks today. For this embroidery piece I decided to use bamboo from my garden and organic h**p cord from a local producer. I did some tatting yesterday, using chenille and cotton yarns. The inserted stones are white agate and purple crystals.

This textile pattern is developed from my own handmade textiles. It’s in the classic blue color that you can find on the Dutch ceramics from the city of Delft. This kind of blue is one of my favorite colors, one I can never get bored of. The pattern is particularly fit for home textiles and decoration 💫
