What makes T.R.I.P.O.F.O.B.I.A. – The End particularly powerful is precisely this refusal to resolve tension. The performance does not seek to explain fear psychologically or socially; rather, it transforms fear into an embodied and perceptual experience. The viewer is not simply observing fear but physically experiencing its rhythm, pressure, and persistence.

Il Fagagna Dance Festival 2026 torna dal 24 al 27 settembre 2026 a Fagagna (UD) con una open nuova call dedicata alla danza contemporanea e alla ricerca performativa.
Il festival, organizzato da Associazione House of IVONA con la direzione artistica di Pablo Girolami, seleziona 2 pezzi di danza contemporanea da inserire nella programmazione presso il Teatro Sala Vittoria.

COSA CERCHIAMO
• 1 Performance di danza a cura di artisti/compagnie/collettivi under 35 residenti e/o con cittadinanza italiana
• 1 Performance di danza a cura di artisti/compagnie/collettivi under 35 residenti e/o con cittadinanza UE
• Durata: 10–20 minuti
• Data di programmazione: 27 settembre 2026

✨ OPEN CALL 2026 ✨

Fagagna Dance Festival 2026 returns from 24–27 September 2026 in Fagagna (Italy) with a new open call dedicated to contemporary dance and performative research.
Organized by House of IVONA Association under the artistic direction of Pablo Girolami, the festival is selecting 2 contemporary dance pieces to be included in the programme at Teatro Sala Vittoria.

🎭 WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• 1 National Performance (artists/companies/collectives under 35 with Italian citizenship or residency)
• 1 International Performance (artists/companies/collectives under 35 with EU citizenship or residency)
• Duration: 10–20 minutes
• Performance date: 27 September 2026

“During the IVONA Intensive, I wish to offer an intimate and close experience of IVONA’s practice. I want to share the sensibilities and feelings that guide us throughout the creative process and provide tools that dancers can carry into their own personal research. I also wish to open new doors for approaching movement, giving dancers the freedom to interpret IVONA’s material and transform it into something that feels truly their own.“

Introducing SARA ARIOTTI |

“During the days of IVONA INTENSIVE, I would like to explore the most sincere way possible of not taking ourselves too seriously — of playing with our bodies to shift shape and intention according to the sensations that arise.
My approach to movement is deeply rooted in timing and musicality, and focuses on deconstructing anatomical structure and canonical dance vocabulary. Through touch and empathy, I aim to create a space where everyone can feel free to step in, take risks, and explore new ways of approaching both choreographic material and technique.“

Il mio approccio al movimento si appoggia molto al tempo e alla musicalità e si concentra sulla scomposizione della struttura anatomica e della danza canonica. Cercando di costruire, anche attraverso il tocco e l’empatia, uno spazio dove ognuno possa sentirsi liber* di mettersi in gioco ed esplorare nuovi modi di eseguire il materiale coreografico e la tecnica.”
