The Inaugural Season of the Lunigiana International Music Festival will be held in the medieval town of Fivizzano, Tuscany, from June 18-28. Singers, pianists, string players will be invited from all around the world for 10 days of intense work with well-known artists, including members of the Met Opera Orchestra, professors at the New York University and international concert musicians. The Festi

val will be a wonderful opportunity for every student, having the possibility to play in concert with their own professors, to have Italian Language Courses and to participate in the competition for soloists and orchestra.

Il Corriere Apuano racconta la nona edizione del Lunigiana International Music Festival con un titolo che ci rende particolarmente orgogliosi: “Tutti i record del Lunigiana International Music Festival”.

Dal 16 al 26 luglio, Fivizzano e la Lunigiana hanno accolto giovani musicisti e musicisti di chiara fama provenienti da 22 Paesi per dieci giorni di alta formazione, masterclass, musica da camera, lezioni di italiano, orchestra, seminari e concerti aperti al pubblico.

Ma il risultato che più ci sta a cuore va oltre i numeri.

Come sottolinea l’articolo, il Festival ha dato vita a “un’esperienza di convivenza artistica e umana unica nel suo genere”, creando un incontro reale tra giovani musicisti internazionali, docenti, pubblico, luoghi e comunità del territorio.

È questa la missione che portiamo avanti da nove edizioni: fare della Lunigiana un luogo nel quale la formazione musicale di alto livello possa incontrare il territorio, e nel quale persone provenienti da culture diverse possano conoscersi e costruire qualcosa insieme attraverso la musica.

Ringraziamo il Corriere Apuano e Riccardo Sordi per la sorpresa di questo racconto della IX edizione, e tutte le persone, le istituzioni, le realtà locali e i sostenitori che hanno contribuito a renderla possibile.

Il nostro sguardo è già rivolto al prossimo traguardo: la decima edizione del Lunigiana International Music Festival.

Due settimane di musica non-stop, studio e ritrovi sono volate via. Siete arrivati pronti a lavorare s**o, a fare grande musica e a divertirvi un mondo nel farlo—e ci siete decisamente riusciti!

È stato fantastico vedervi dare il massimo con il vostro repertorio e sostenervi a vicenda come sempre. L’energia, le risate e la musica di queste ultime due settimane hanno reso quest’anno davvero speciale.
