🌿𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬: 𝐀 𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐊𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐚 𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐞🌿
The event hosted by at the stunning Rome Botanical Garden was the perfect stage to showcase the driving force behind the 𝐈𝐀𝐂 - 𝐈𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐰.
This year, we chose to push beyond the concept of a “beautiful underwater landscape.”
We presented a 90cm shallow tank, designed not just as a stylistic exercise, but as a living fragment of an ecosystem: the biotope of the 𝐊𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐩𝐮𝐳𝐡𝐚 𝐑𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐊𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐚, 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚.

For us, aquascaping is more than decoration.
It is a unique intersection of scientific research and aesthetic vision.
• 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: We meticulously studied the water parameters, flora, and natural materials of the Kantipuzha to create the perfect habitat for the stars of this tank: the Pea Puffers (Carinotetraodon travancoricus).
Replicating the complexity of a natural riverbed is essential to ensuring the biological and psychological well-being of these incredible micro-predators.
• 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬: We interpreted this scientific data through the lens of aquascaping, seeking that “natural beauty” that is never forced, but emerges from the perfect balance between driftwood, stones, and open spaces.

Watching the tiny Carinotetraodon navigate through the shadows and reflections of the shallow tank was an experience we were thrilled to share with every visitor.
These “diamonds” of Kerala deserve environments that respect their biological dignity.
The success of this display confirms that the path of the Nature Aquarium is the right one.
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, asked technical questions, or simply took a moment to observe the life flowing beneath the surface.
