Title: COVERS

Like the feeling when a familiar song comes up on the radio, the work investigates how memory and nostalgia move through the body. It also questions performance itself: what is real? What is disguise? Are the dancers honest or are they undercover?

Together with Sara and Brandon, the participants brought “Ouroboros” on the gate8’s stage.

“Ouroboros”

“We buy therefor we are. We consume to exist.
Continuously evolving backwards and fused with our phones. Shuffling through time covered in pixels.
The truth will be sold to the highest bidder.”
