I am testing an amber varnish from a well-known brand.
In addition to the fact that it has a bad smell, if there is amber (I have to do other tests to understand if it really is there) the amber is very little compared to the oil, in fact under a wood lamp my varnish made with 2 parts oil and one part amber (on the left) does not have a pronounced green because amber does not have much fluorescence, on the right instead it seems to have the fluorescence of a rosin varnish.
I will do other tests to determine if there is actually amber.
