I was talking with about record stores we shopped at back in the early 90s, and we both mentioned “Numbers” on Fresh Pond Road in Middle Village, Queens. My friend Nicky “Father” Fingers worked there. I did a quick search for his name and his Discogs page came up. I clicked on the link and a few profile photos came up of Nicky. I swiped up through a few more and I came upon this photo. It’s almost fell out of my chair. I never knew this photo existed. I’m not even sure where it is. I do know this was at a rave during the hardcore era. Nicky has been gone almost 20 years. I’ll never forget these days. Nicky was a great dude. Can’t believe I stumbled upon this photo by accident. I’m so happy I did tho.
