Like Me, Like a Joker - The Joker Web series è una fan series sull'universo di Batman, creata da Bruno Mirabella e prodotta dalla Burattini senza Fili Production. Joker nel futuro vuole fare esplodere l'intera Gotham City, mentre i minuti del timer della bomba passano veloci decide di raccontarci la sua versione della storia in cui eroi e villain sono tutti folli. ccia tre linee temporali: passato, presente e futuro di Gotham City.. L'intento che ci accompagna fin dall'inizio è quello di dare un'impronta originale all'universo di Batman, prendendo anche spunto dai fumetti e film fino adesso realizzati ma attraverso una nostra personalissima visione. Lo dimostriamo scegliendo come protagonista un Joker anziano e morente che racconta la storia di Gotham, culla di criminali e paladini, ma soprattutto di personaggi che in un modo o nell'altro rispecchiano le varie forme della follia scatenata dagli eventi della loro vita o dalla natura diversa e disadattata causata dai contesti in cui, istituzioni e società, li costringono a vivere. Like Me, Like a Joker è il racconto di questi uomini e di queste donne, etichettati sotto il nome di “villains”. Like me, like a Joker is a new web series created by the cultural association “Burattini senza fili”. The idea of creating a web series about Batman’s world comes in 2010, but a first draft of the screenplay comes out in 2012. The intent that leads us since the beginning is to give an original mark on the Batman universe. Inspired by comic books, graphic novels and films until now realised, we also wanted to add our own personal point of view. As a proof for that we chose to have, as the main character, an old dying Joker telling stories of Gotham, cradle for criminals and champions, but above all for characters that in one way or the other reflects various forms of insanity unleashed by the events of their lives or the distorted nature of institutions and society. Like Me, Like a Joker is the tale of these men and women, these so-called “villains”. A tale that will pass towards past, present and future of Gotham City, like a train to madness.
