In a 2 weeks retreat based on intensive work and great pleasure the students acquire technical sculptural skills and develop their perception on both material (marble) and form. eople share an all-included experience of working together on the world’s best sculpting marble, learning intensively both the classic and most avanguard methods, enjoying great food and wine, visiting epic artistic sites, enjoying pool, sea and forest, and getting inspired in a warm and beautiful villa on the soft hills of Versilia, the cost area of Tuscany.

We took our guests to the source.. to see Carrara's mountains of white marble, outside and inside.
The tour was strong, powerful, impressive and frightening. The great artistic history mixed with a huge industry that devoures the white rocks. We had lunch at a local "osteria" in the middle of the white valley and continued to see our beloved old "Academia di belle arti" in town. Roberto remembered us (he overcame the trauma..) and showed our group the hidden wonders of the academy, like CANOVA ORIGINAL plaster sculptures and other increadible stuff 😵🙏🏼
