Great to see our OneSails UK team supporting another fantastic week of sailing, and especially the next generation of sailors through the OneSails Next Generation Class.

We’re proud to once again be supporting this fantastic celebration of sailing and racing.

This year we’re especially proud to be sponsoring the OneSails Next Generation Class, an initiative to encourage more young sailors to get involved in racing. We can’t wait to see the next generation out on the water.

Tre båtar. Tre världar. -Samma sport ⛵
Det är det här som gör segling så speciellt.
På ena sidan strikt entyp som J/70: identiska båtar, korta intensiva race och ytterst små marginaler.
På den andra en klassisk skärgårdskryssare som A22 – långsmal och ritad efter en konstruktionsregel, med helt andra egenskaper och förutsättningar.
Och så offshore doublehanded i SRS: två personer, långa distanser, skiftande förhållanden och en segelgarderob som måste fungera över ett stort register och samtidigt vara hanterbar för två.
Tre väldigt olika sätt att kappsegla, med helt olika krav på seglens design, material och konstruktion. Ändå samma sport.
De senaste två helgerna har vi fått tre riktigt fina exempel:
🥈 Gustav, Erik och Oskar Lindén seglade hem silvret på A22-SM i Nynäshamn med Berit. Tre s**kar på åtta race och totalt andraplats bland 16 båtar.
🥉 Erik Lindén med besättning tog brons på SM i J/70 i Åmål – strikt entyp i ett mycket starkt startfält med 22 båtar. Bland annat en s**k och en andraplats, trea bakom Olov Langenius och vinnaren Anton Dahlberg, dubbel OS-medaljör i 470.
🏆 Fredrik & Fredrik på Rebellion vann Doublehanded i Visbypokalen – offshore i SRS från Nynäshamn via Gotska Sandön till Sandhamn. Vi har under flera år arbetat tillsammans med dem för att utveckla en mångsidig segelgarderob anpassad för just den typen av segling.
J/70, A22 och Grand Surprise -Entyp, konstruktionsklass och SRS.
Bana och offshore. Full besättning och doublehanded.
Olika båtar, olika segling och helt olika krav på seglen.
Men samma mål – att segla fort.

We caught up with José and Marta at Copa del Rey MAPFRE on the third day of races.

Team members of Fala Pouco, they have been sailing a Dufour 40 for a couple of years, racking up recognitions like Champions ORC3 Copa del Rey in 2024 and becoming European Champions of ORC A2 this year.

Jose Ballester runs the OneSails South Spain loft together with Andres Manresa.
