a post-conceptual artist, makes a rigid readymade physically tangible through performance. The audience is invited to confront the artist with their own bodies and experience the power of art.

practice examines how gestures and relationships between human and non-human actors make states along temporal and spatial axes visible.
Through a somatic perspective, ambiguities are not resolved but rather experienced in their simultaneity.

Discover the artists performing at DRAWN TO RISK – House of Performance ✨

Susanna Schoenberg creates performative, cross-media works at the intersection of film, video, installation, and performance. Her practice focuses on translation, reactivity, gestures, the techno-image, and nonlinear narration.

stands for a radical culture of error, experimentation, and improvisation with noise, images, and activism. With GENNARINO’S EARBLEEDING, he showcases a radical performance, inspired by the blood miracle of Saint Gennaro.

is an interdisciplinary artist. His politically inclined practice connects sculpture, installation and performance to critically study power structures, social norms and forms of collective responsibility.

Frranzrrrina ( and Franz Hofer) was born in a tomato field in 2024. Since then, they have experimented with materials, media, their context, and decontextualization. Their performances combine the genius loci with fleeting moments and architecture with emotions, weaving them into unusual contexts.

For , a wooden board serves as a stage for her performance. Here, stories are shared and visually recorded. While one person narrates, the other translates those perceived tales into pictures that are then incised into the wood with a fine carving tool.

Do you know why we painted our walls in Buddha Gold for "Under the Spell of Duchamp"? ✨

The answer lies in an instruction by Yoko Ono — a phrase that reads like a modern haiku and evokes that inframince, the ultra-subtle and elusive quality that Marcel Duchamp considered essential to art: something that cannot be explained, but only experienced.

Yoko Ono’s visual portrait inspired the colour of the room where Duchamp’s work was presented, creating an atmosphere under whose spell the exhibition could unfold. Through a digital colour-blending process, we combined one part red, one part orangey yellow, one part sun ray yellow, and one part spring green, arriving at a colour called Buddha Gold.

The result felt like one of those rare coincidences that carries the weight of karma: a serendipitous encounter between chance and meaning.

EVENT: 12.09.2026 at 11 AM

The Südtiroler Künstlerbund (SKB), in collaboration with the Antonio Dalle Nogare Foundation, presents on Saturday, 12 September, at 11 AM, as part of Transart 2026, the ten performance projects selected through the Open Call DRAWN TO RISK – HOUSE OF PERFORMANCE, dedicated to artists, collectives and performers, who were born, reside or are professionally active in South Tyrol.

DRAWN TO RISK promotes bold and radical performative practices that explore the relationship between the body, space and contemporary social issues through physical, sonic or mental actions that deliberately push boundaries. At its core, the project features artistic approaches that challenge limits, embrace risk as a creative element, and understand performance as a direct form of engagement with the present. The initiative aims to open up new perspectives, transforming the Foundation’s spaces into a venue for artistic presence, active participation and exchange.

As a laboratory of the present — a place of experimentation, openness, and exchange —all of the Foundation’s spaces will be brought to life by the interventions by Matteo De Caminada, Franz Hofer and Rina Treml, Peter KOMPRIPIOTR Holzknecht, Katharina Theresa Mayr, Harald Plattner, Camilla Prey, Susanna Schoenberg, Leander Schwazer, Lena Simonetti, and Valeria Stuflesser, through immediate and participatory performative practices that explore the relationship between the body, space, and contemporary social issues through physical, sonic, mental, and relational actions.

The collaboration between the Südtiroler Künstlerbund (SKB) and the Antonio Dalle Nogare Foundation stems from a shared desire to strengthen the presence of performance art in South Tyrol, creating a space open to dialogue, research, and experimentation.

Presented in collaboration with Bolzano Danza, the performance takes place on Tuesday, 28 July at 6.30 PM.

Founded by Erika Z. Galli and Martina Ruggeri, is an artistic collective working across performance, music, writing, and the visual arts. Their practice begins with language—understood as an expanded form of writing that inhabits bodies, spaces, and surfaces. From there, it unfolds into action and performance, flowing through sound, voice, and light, dissolving the boundaries between self and other, between here and elsewhere.

The Antonio Dalle Nogare Foundation is home to the site-specific installation "Beyond, Instead, Possible…" by the American artist Robert Barry ✨

Created for the library windows in 2012, the work emerged from a dialogue between the artist and , deeply inspired by the building's architecture and the surrounding landscape.

Using a carefully selected vocabulary of 200 words, Barry transforms language into art. As natural light shifts throughout the day, the installation continuously changes, creating an ever-evolving interaction between words, space, and nature
