tween Bologna and the LGBTI community for the "promotion and protection of the rights of people and the LGBTQI community" in our city. Our main activity is the male choir (TTBB), which activities started more than 10 years ago (it was born well before the association!). Komos was born in Bologna in 2008 and is still the only entirely male LGBT * choir in Italy. Our repertoire has expanded and transformed over time, ranging from the music of authors such as the bolognese Adriano Banchieri (1568 - 1634), through opera (the last was a Nozze di Figaro with the Senzaspine Orchestra of Bologna in 2019) and the contemporary classic. Alongside the so-called “high” music we have developed a repertoire of original arrangements of international pop songs, especially of authors particularly relevant to the LGBT * community (The Queen, David Bowie, Gigliola Cinquetti, Mia Martini, ABBA, Britney Spears, and many others).
