From field research to the final exhibition, 𝘌𝘤𝘰𝘴𝘺𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘴 𝘢𝘴 𝘓𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴 vol. II brings together the work of 𝗘𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻 and 𝗘𝗺𝗺𝗮 𝗭𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹, developed by 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗘 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘀 of 𝗙𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗣𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲 in collaboration with 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽.

Over the past months, the two designers and researchers have engaged with alpine ecosystems through fieldwork, conversations, archival research, and exchanges with experts and local communities. Through filmic and sonic practices, the projects explore mountain territories as living communities shaped by complex relationships between human and more-than-human worlds.

In 𝘊𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘔𝘪𝘥𝘥𝘭𝘦 𝘔𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘰𝘸, 𝗘𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻 reflects on high-altitude meadows as spaces of adaptation and ecological resilience in a rapidly changing climate. In 𝘌𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘭𝘶𝘦 𝘚𝘵𝘰𝘯𝘦, 𝗘𝗺𝗺𝗮 𝗭𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹, investigates Punta Corna in the Italian Western Alps, exploring the relationship between extraction, technology, and territory through practices of situated listening.

Presented during the 28th edition of Arte al Centro at Cittadellarte, 𝘌𝘤𝘰𝘴𝘺𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘴 𝘢𝘴 𝘓𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴 is curated in dialogue with 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗼 and offers a glimpse into the original artworks and the research processes that led to their creation.
The works produced during the residency will become part of the 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

𝘌𝘤𝘰𝘴𝘺𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘴 𝘢𝘴 𝘓𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴 is open to visitors on weekends from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM at Cittadellarte until September 2026.

We are delighted to announce the opening of 𝐸𝑐𝑜𝑠𝑦𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑚𝑠 𝑎𝑠 𝐿𝑖𝑣𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐶𝑜𝑚𝑚𝑢𝑛𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑒𝑠 vol. II in the framework of the 28th edition of 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼 on 15 May 2026.

The exhibition features new works by 𝗘𝗺𝗺𝗮 𝗭𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 and 𝗘𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻.
Rooted in different Alpine territories, the two projects investigate ecological transformation through months of situated and interdisciplinary research. From high-altitude meadows altered by climate change to landscapes redefined by extractive practices, the exhibition reflects on the fragile interdependencies linking environments, technologies and living communities.

Shaped in dialogue with curator 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗼, the projects emerge from exchanges with researchers, scientists, practitioners and local communities.
We extend our gratitude to all those who have contributed to their development.

UNIDEE Programme 𝙇𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙪𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙨, 𝙋𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚 continued with 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗩: 𝘽𝙚𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙘𝙮—𝙂𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙑𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡 𝙇𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 led by dramaturg, scholar, and curator .
Building on ongoing explorations of language as a tool for resistance and political transformation, this module questioned regimes of aurality shaped by oralism and audism, moving beyond perception models centered solely on hearing. Through collective experiments, participants worked with and through scores as open, relational structures where language emerged as a vibratory, tactile, and affective force, flowing across bodies, gestures, and spaces, and opening up transcorporeal modes of listening.

Special thanks to guest contributors and .aria, whose presence expanded the research, deepening the inquiry into multiple ways of listening.

Many thanks to the mentor, guests, curators, and all the residents who continue to light up the days at Cittadellarte:
