We were saddened to hear about the closure of BrooklynVegan.

Our first thoughts go to everyone who helped build it over the years. The writers, photographers, editors, contributors, and everyone who gave their time, ideas, passion, and a piece of their lives to something they believed in. Losing an independent platform means losing far more than a website or a logo. It means losing one lf our voices.

Every time an independent space disappears, we’re reminded of how fragile the ecosystem we love really is, and how important it is to keep protecting it.

To us, punk, DIY and alternative music only make sense if they remain truly alternative. If they’re built by people, communities, small venues, independent labels, promoters willing to take risks, and volunteers who give their time simply because they care. They don’t need to become another product on a balance sheet or another brand to be acquired.

That’s also why Punk Rock Raduno will continue to be different. We’re not interested in chasing numbers, market logic, or the idea that bigger automatically means better. That choice has often meant missing out on bigger names, and we’re perfectly fine with that. And we hope you're too.

So please, don't expect big names from us.
We have no interest in playing that game.

We’d rather keep building a place where people come before profit, and where a scene still belongs to the people who live it.

If you believe in that too, Punk Rock Raduno is your home.

Keep making your own kind of music.
