Held in the Council Hall of the Municipality of , the final documentary screening marked a symbolic milestone, bringing the project for the first time to the coastal areas of the Marche region and connecting the inlands with the sea.
A diverse and curious audience filled the hall: locals, educators from the Istituto Rusticucci, community representatives, and members of the UNESCO Club of Tolentino, who travelled from the inlands to enrich the discussion with inspiring reflections.
One of the most moving moments of the evening came with Chiara Cerri, a biographer and storyteller. She presented her book “Sulla Faglia. Una ricerca biografica in cammino lungo le Terre Mutate” the story of a 250 km walking research journey across earthquake-affected territories in central Italy.
Through her work, Chiara Cerri gave voice to people living along the Apennine fault line, reminding us that “villages once belonged to the landscape” and that staying close to wounded territories is a form of care and remembrance.
This event closed the ImproLANDS journey but also opened new questions and visions for the future, reminding us that art’s role in healing and connection never really ends.
