When we hosted the artists Francisco Nogueira, Branca Cuvier, Bart and Mercedes last summer, we didn't expect this coming.

Francisco is an architect and photographer, long time friend of Giacomo. In his beautiful photos he managed to subtly capture the relationship of The Seed of Time and our environment: the busy main street, the Saturday market, Rosa and her terrace activities, the playfulness of our organic interiors.

Such an inspiring exchange with Caterina Tognon and Gabriele Pimpini from Pescetrullo.
Last summer we visited this enchanted place that Gabriele conceived as a talented architect. Within this larger plan that includes a beautiful garden with a swimming pool, a refurbished trullo, and a separated kitchen and outdoor dining area, 2 houses were built as a family portrait, designed by the italian designer, artist and architect Gaetano Pesce.
2 days of nice chats, wonderful meals and future plans!
A few days later we hosted them in Altamura and had the chance to share our story too.

The city and its various parts can be seen as a music score, the edifices acting as notes played by different instruments simultaneously. A melody is created by, what the Romans used to call Genius Loci, the spirit of the place, the conductor of the city. Historic centres usually have a clear, harmonious melody, but oftentimes the soundscapes of the outer layers of a city are disrupted, lacking a conductor able to integrate architectonic interventions throughout space and time. Notes follow each other without a scheme, unbalanced, generating feelings of abandon and indifference. Gentle Genius is born in such an environment, aiming to generate awareness of the critical current condition. It sets a new key in the urban music score, recovering a deep note lost in time, reinventing local instruments to manifest as a sound from the future, allowing the Genius Loci to compose new music again.
The Genius Loci of the area, after decades of abandon, has finally arisen from its sleep. The facade starts to vibrate and due to its structure creates an ever moving surface.

Following up the celebration of the 2nd birthday and the release of the album In the Court of the Crimson King with the special presentation of In The Court Of The Crimson King - Alessandro Staiti, Giacomo tells to the magazine Colle about the genesis of The Seed Of Time project, the current works at GG-loop and at Elephants and Volcanoes and the future plans for the house museum.

48 years ago today In the court of the Crimson King by King Crimson was released.
2 years ago today we opened our doors for the first time to the public with the immersive performance The Seed of Time by the international art collective Elephants and Volcanoes.
To celebrate these two events, the house museum hosted Alessandro Staiti who presented his latest book In The Court Of The Crimson King - Alessandro Staiti.
