In the puppet musical Root, the Handbendi theatre company explores the power of political theatre for young audiences. It weaves together visual storytelling, puppetry and emotional depth, with the aim of raising questions in young theatre-goers about identity, cultural roots and social change.

The summer just started with the wonderful JEM festival in Brussels were The Journey was presented for about 10 hours of playing time. Many thanks for the kind invitation, support, all the wonderful encounters and reunions, sharing and beautiful shows. It is a pure joy and delight to be part of this puppet family 💗
