Some of the side effects of repressive anger. These are animations from Einhver pirripú (Little Miss Attitude).

Don’t know what to do with the show now. If I want to keep working on it or publish it or what. The hardest part was to keep it to one narrative. Even though one of the benefits of anger is that it gives you focus, haha. There’s a lot to say about anger. And a lot of takes. In Icelandic, for example, the words anger and fury are feminine. There’s also how women lose respect if they curse a lot, while men gain respect. And how my dad told me when I was struggling to tear down a wall in my apartment that I should “just be angry!” 😆

To those of you I told that there was no Opening Party for Einhver pirripú: sorry. There was one, held by my friend Eva and I with a short notice and even shorter guest list. There was limited room outside, with the buffet tables and the stage taking up most of the street. But we were lucky with the weather and everyone had a good time. Special shoutout to Taylor Swift for being the designated driver, using her private jet to pick everyone up. And to the country of Libya, for the firework show.

DesignMarch is over. Reykjavík (and beyond!) really proving we’re overflowing with creative talent. Will do a deeper dive of it later. But overall I’m happy that I pushed myself to do a solo show about something I personally struggle with. I want to thank for hosting it. They really are the best theater. And the radio show Lestin on Rás 1 for interviewing me. Bringing attention to myself is new but I like it.

7 - 10 maí verður sýningin Einhver pirripú sýnd á skjánum fyrir utan Tjarnabíó. Þar verður skoðaður skaðinn sem kemur frá því að bæla reiði sína og hliðarverkanir þess. Úr hugarheimi bitrar kellingar með skoðun á öllu!

Outside Tjarnabíó from May 7th-10th the show Little Miss Attitude will be showing. A series of digital posters around rage and the importance of expressing it in a healthy way instead of bottling it up. Made by your favorite bitter, nobody bitch!

It’s starting to come together. Might show some teasers soon. But with a little over a week left to go I need to kick things up. Since DesignMarch is handing out marketing materials on Monday I don’t think I need to print out my own. So it’s just about making the video clear and cool. 🤞
