15 minutes of fame 15 minutes of fame, is an experimental online exhibition of seven artist in Iceland in their studios making work/shortdoc/performance.

The idea is a result of Covid closures of Museums and galleries in Reykjavík Iceland where the artists live. The Art Society is a network platform, connecting artists from all around the globe and introducing their work. It started with two international art exhbitions with twenty artists from seven countries happening in Peckham London in 2018-2019 titled To Make Art Happen and It's Happening Now

All the 15 minutes of fame videos have now been posted. They've had a fantastic response and thousands of people have watched them. I thank the participating artists for taking part, you are all ace and it was a pleasure working with you. Thank you Steingrímur Dúi for filming and editing and The Visual Icelandic Art Fund for it's support. The Art Society will now go into hibernation and contemplate it's next project.⏳💡🔌
