Leikstjórinn David Leitch og framleiðandinn Kelly McCormick hafa saman átt stóran þátt í að móta hasarmyndir síðustu ára, með myndum á borð við Atomic Blonde, Deadpool 2, Bullet Train, Nobody og The Fall Guy.
Leitch hefur einnig áratuga reynslu sem áhættuleikari. Hann var meðal annars staðgengill Brad Pitt í Fight Club, Troy og Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

One of the most influential creative teams in action cinema will be among RIFF’s guests of honour this year!
Director David Leitch and producer Kelly McCormick have played a major role in shaping action cinema in recent years, with films including Atomic Blonde, Deadpool 2, Bullet Train, Nobody and The Fall Guy.
Leitch also has decades of experience in stunt work and was, among other things, Brad Pitt’s stunt double in Fight Club, Troy and Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
Their visit to RIFF offers Icelandic filmmakers, industry professionals, students and film enthusiasts a unique opportunity to gain insight into the work behind some of the most memorable action films of recent years — from the initial idea and script development to casting, stunt work, filming and the final ex*****on.
At RIFF, Leitch will give a masterclass on his career, and the pair will attend screenings of Atomic Blonde and Bullet Train.
