Himmelande emerged through walking, observing, and listening to the Kittholmen–Old Harbour area. Six locations gradually revealed themselves. Connecting them conceptually, physically, and on the map transformed the experienced landscape into a three-dimensional form, built from steel and suspended between two trees at a scale of 1:500.

Moved by wind, light, and the trees themselves, the work never holds a fixed shape. Like the place from which it emerged, it is always becoming.
