Ásgerður Arnardóttir (f. 1994) lauk BA gráðu í myndlist úr Listaháskóla Íslands vorið 2018 og MFA gráðu frá California Institute of the Arts árið 2023. Hún vinnur með fjölbreytta miðla svo sem innsetningar, textílverk, málverk, stafræna prentun, ljóðlist, hljóðverk, myndbandsverk og skúlptúra. Í verkum sínum vinnur Ásgerður gjarnan með hið ritaða orð sem hún umbreytir í áþreifanlegt eða myndrænt mál eftir samhengi. Útkoman er oft innsetningar sem reyna á snertiskyn og bjóða áhorfandanum að taka beinan þátt í verkunum. Verk hennar hafa verið sýnd bæði hérlendis og erlendis, meðal annars á samsýningum í Kling & Bang, RIP Space í Los Angeles og í húsnæði B2B-residensíunnar í Finnlandi á vegum Nordic Art Association.
Ásgerður Arnardóttir (b. 1994) completed a BA degree in Fine Art from the Iceland University of the Arts in 2018 and a MFA from the California Institute of the Arts in 2023. She works across installation, textile, painting, digital print, poetry, sound, video, and sculpture. Ásgerður plays with the written language, transforming it into tactile or visual form depending on context. The outcome is often installations that test perception by touch, inviting the viewer to take direct part in the work. Her work has been exhibited internationally and in various contexts, including at Kling og Bang, RIP Space in Los Angeles and the B2B residency building in Finland through the Nordic Art Association.
