Við fengum aldeilis magnaða heimsókn í dag! Hin lifandi goðsögn Hr. Pálmi Gunnarsson mætti í Sveitabúðina Unu!! 😮🤩 Pálmi á svona sirka annaðhvert lag sem er spilað hjá okkur. Það er óhætt að segja að við hjónin vorum stjörnuslegin enda erum við aldamóta og X kynslóðin alin upp við mjúkan raddblæ þessa meistara hvort sem það eru allmörg jólalögin eða margir helstu slagarar þjóðarinnar 🥹 (Gleðibankinn, Þorparinn, Ísland er land þitt, Íslenska konan, Þitt fyrsta bros og fl. & fl...)
Auðvitað fann hann hina fullkomnu ullarpeysu í Sveitabúðinni Unu 🥲 í sínum uppáhalds litum; græn, hvít og gulskotin. Hún Alda frá Selfossi prjónaði þessa fallegu peysu 🌼 Þetta var fyrsta peysan sem hann mátaði og það var eins og að setja skóinn á öskubusku 🙈😍 Galdur íslensks handverks leyndi sér ekki þegar meistarinn skrýddist hinni hreinræktuðu, alíslensku ullarpeysu eins og sannur fjallakonungur 👑

Today we had quite an incredible visit! The living legend Pálmi Gunnarsson stopped by UNA Local Store!! 😮🤩 Pálmi probably owns every other song that gets played here at the shop. It is safe to say that we were completely starstruck — after all, our generation grew up with the soft warmth of this legends tender voice, whether through the many beloved Christmas songs or many of the nation’s greatest hits 🥹 (Gleðibankinn, Þorparinn, Ísland er land þitt, íslenska konan, Þitt fyrsta bros and so many more)
And of course, he found the perfect Icelandic wool sweater at UNA Local Store 🥲 in his favorite colors, green with a touch of white and yellow. This beautiful sweater was hand-knitted by Alda from Selfoss 🌼 It was the very first sweater he tried on, and it fit like Cinderella’s slipper 🙈😍
The magic of Icelandic craftsmanship was impossible to hide when the man, the myth, the legend wore it like a king 👑
