في إطار بناء القدرات الوطنية تُعلن منظمة لاماسو للثقافة (Lamassu Cultural Organization) عن حصول الأستاذ أويس رياض الحمداني (عضو الهيئة التأسيسية للمنظمة) على شهادة تدريبية دولية معتمدة صاردة عن مؤسسة إدارة التراث الدولية (HERITAGE - Heritage Management Organization)، إثر مشاركتهِ وإكمالهِ بنجاح لورشة العمل التخصصية المتقدمة:

«حفظ المكتبات والأرشيف في العراق: الحفظ الوقائي، تطوير المشاريع، إدارة المشاريع، وجمع التمويل»

والتي أُقيمت خلال العام الأكاديمي 2025–2026 في مدينتي بغداد والسليمانية، بدعم واشراف من المعهد الأكاديمي للأبحاث في العراق (TARII).
شملت الورشة تدريبات مكثفة ركزت على تطوير المهارات العملية في الحفظ الوقائي للمخطوطات والوثائق النادرة، المراقبة البيئية، إدارة المخاطر والطوارئ، بالإضافة إلى التخطيط الاستراتيجي، كتابة مقترحات المشاريع التراثية، وجمع التمويل وفق المعايير الدولية المعتمدة.

Within the framework of national capacity-building initiatives, the Lamassu Cultural Organization announces that Mr. Owais Riyadh Al-Hamdani (Member of the Founding Board) has been awarded an internationally accredited training certificate issued by the Heritage Management Organization (HERITAGE), following his successful participation in and completion of the advanced specialized workshop:

"Library and Archive Conservation in Iraq: Preventive Conservation, Project Development, Project Management, and Fundraising"

The workshop was conducted during the 2025–2026 academic year in the cities of Baghdad and Sulaymaniyah, under the support and supervision of The Academic Research Institute in Iraq (TARII).
The program encompassed intensive training modules focused on developing practical skills in the preventive conservation of rare manuscripts and documents, environmental monitoring, risk and emergency management, alongside strategic planning, writing heritage project proposals, and fundraising in accordance with accredited international standards.
Lamassu Organization extends its warmest congratulations to Mr. Owais Riyadh Al-Hamdani on this academic achievement, reaffirming its continuous commitment to developing the expertise of its academic and field personnel to serve and preserve Iraq's cultural and documentary heritage.

«لا تكتب على تاريخنا».. منظمة "لاماسو" تُطلق حملة ميدانية واسعة لحماية جدران وأزقة الموصل القديمة من التشويه

في إطار مساعيها الحثيثة لصون التراث العمراني والحفاظ على الهوية الثقافية لمدينة الموصل، أطلقت منظمة لاماسو للثقافة (Lamassu Cultural Organization) حملتها التوعوية الميدانية المكثفة تحت شعار:

«لا تكتب على تاريخنا.. الجدران القديمة ليست للكتابة، بل هي ذاكرة مدينة وتاريخ أجدادنا»

جاءت هذه الحملة برعاية كريمة من السيد خالد عبد الكريم العبيدي المحترم (النائب الفني لمحافظ نينوى المحترم)، وبإشراف ميداني مباشر من مفتشية آثار وتراث نينوى، وبمشاركة فاعلة من الشرطة المجتمعية، مديرية الأمن الوطني، بلدية الموصل، ومختار المناطق المستهدفة، وبحضور جمعٍ غفير من الشخصيات الثقافية، المؤسسات المدنية، والكوادر الإعلامية.

مسار الحملة وأنشطتها الميدانية:
شهدت الحملة جولات ميدانية مباشرة بين أزقة الموصل القديمة، حيث انطلقت المفارز والفرق التطوعية من منطقة الجامع النوري الكبير وصولاً إلى منطقة كنائس حوش البيعة.
وتضمن النشاط الميداني تفاعلاً مباشراً مع الأهالي وسكان الأحياء التراثية، حيث تم توزيع بروشور توعوي خاص من إعداد وتنظيم منظمة "لاماسو"، يركز على تبيان الأهمية التاريخية والسياحية لهذه الأزقة بوصفها نقاط جذب عالمية لزوار المدينة، وضرورة الامتناع التام عن تشويه جدران البيوت والزخارف التراثية بالكتابات، الشعارات، أو الإعلانات العشوائية التي تُفقد المكان قيمته الجمالية والحضارية.

رسائل حملة "لا تكتب على تاريخنا":
ذاكرة حيّة: الجدران القديمة هي شواهد تاريخية ناطقة بعبق الأجداد، والعبث بها يترك أثراً سلبيّاً يضر بالذاكرة الجمعية.
مسؤولية مشتركة: الكتابة على الجدران إهانة للتاريخ وتشويه للجمال، والحفاظ على التراث هو مسؤولية أخلاقية ووطنية تقع على عاتق الجميع.
تعزيز السياحة: حماية المعالم والأزقة القديمة يساهم مباشرة في إنعاش الحركة السياحية والثقافية في محافظة نينوى.

"Do Not Write on Our History": Lamassu Cultural Organization Launches Extensive Field Campaign to Protect the Walls and Alleys of Old Mosul from Defacement

In line with its steadfast efforts to safeguard architectural heritage and preserve the cultural identity of the city of Mosul, Lamassu Cultural Organization has launched an intensive field awareness campaign under the slogan:

"Do Not Write on Our History: Ancient walls are not for writing; they are the memory of a city and the history of our ancestors."

The campaign was held under the gracious auspices of Mr. Khalid Abdul-Kareem Al-Obaidi, Technical Deputy Governor of Nineveh, and under the direct field supervision of the Nineveh Antiquities and Heritage Inspectorate. It witnessed active participation from the Community Police, the Directorate of National Security, the Municipality of Mosul, and the neighborhood mukhtars of the targeted areas, in the presence of a distinguished gathering of cultural figures, civil society organizations, and media representatives.
Campaign Route and Field Activities
The campaign featured direct field tours through the historic alleys of Old Mosul, with volunteer teams and field units setting off from the Grand Al-Nuri Mosque area to the Al-Tahera (Hosh Al-Bieaa) Church complex.
Field activities included direct engagement with local residents and dwellers of heritage neighborhoods. A specialized awareness brochure—designed and published by Lamassu Organization—was distributed. The publication highlights the historical and tourism significance of these alleys as international points of attraction for visitors to the city, emphasizing the absolute necessity of refraining from defacing house walls and heritage ornaments with graffiti, slogans, or random advertisements that diminish the aesthetic and cultural value of the site.

A Living Memory: Ancient walls are historical witnesses echoing the legacy of our ancestors; tampering with them leaves a negative impact that harms our collective memory.

محطة علمية ثالثة تُشرق في سماء المعرفة: "لاماسو" و"مركز التاريخ العربي" يعلنان صدور الإصدار الثالث ضمن مبادرة النشر العلمي

في إطار مسيرتها المعرفية المتواصلة لدعم حركة التأليف والبحث العلمي الأكاديمي، تُعلن منظمة لاماسو للثقافة (Lamassu Cultural Organization) بالتعاون مع شركائها الاستراتيجيين في مركز التاريخ العربي للنشر، عن اكتمال وجاهزية الإصدار الثالث ضمن مشروعها الوطني الرائد «نشر العلم من أجل تنمية ثقافية للمجتمع».
يأتي هذا الإصدار العلمي المحكّم مجسداً لثمرة التعاون المثمر والطباعة والتوزيع الدولي عبر مكتبة مدبولي العريقة في جمهورية مصر العربية، ليثري المكتبة التاريخية والأثرية العربية بدراسة نوعية متخصصة.

إصدارات لاحقة متتالية: تعمل الكوادر الفنية والعلمية بجهود حثيثة للانتهاء من تجهيز المجموعة التالية من الكتب والأبحاث، وسيتم إطلاقها والإعلان عن صدورها تباعاً خلال الفترة القادمة.

As part of its ongoing journey of knowledge to support authorship and academic scientific research, the Lamassu Cultural Organization, in cooperation with its strategic partners at the Arab History Center for Publishing, announces the completion and readiness of the third publication within its pioneering national project, "Publishing Science for the Cultural Development of Society."
This peer-reviewed scientific publication represents the fruit of fruitful cooperation, as well as international printing and distribution through the venerable Madbouly Bookshop in the Arab Republic of Egypt, enriching the Arabic historical and archaeological library with a specialized qualitative study.

تحت ظلال التنوع والتلاحم الحضاري: "لاماسو" والمعهد الفرنسي-العراقي يختتمان بنجاح الورشة الحوارية «اللغة السريانية... إرثٌ حيّ وهويةٌ متجددة» وسط حضور رسمي وأكاديمي رفيع

في تظاهرة ثقافية رصينة تجسد عمق التنوع الحضاري واللغوي الذي تزخر به أرض الرافدين، أقامت منظمة لاماسو للثقافة (Lamassu Cultural Organization) بالتعاون مع المعهد الثقافي الفرنسي-العراقي في الموصل (ICFI) وجامعة الموصل، صباح اليوم الإثنين 13 تموز 2026، الورشة الحوارية التخصصية والموسومة بـ «اللغة السريانية... إرثٌ حيّ وهويةٌ متجددة».
احتضنت قاعة المعهد الثقافي الفرنسي-العراقي فعاليات هذه الورشة، التي شهدت طرحاً علمياً متميزاً قدمه كل من الأستاذ الدكتور إطلال سالم حنّا (رئيس قسم اللغة السريانية في كلية التربية للعلوم الإنسانية بجامعة الموصل)، والباحثة الأستاذة لينا ولسن، حيث سلطا الضوء على القيمة التاريخية والحضارية للغة السريانية بوصفها جسراً ثقافياً حياً يربط بين حضارات المنطقة ويوثق هويتها الإنسانية المتجددة.

شكل الحضور النوعي لافتةً مضيئة تعكس الاهتمام البالغ الذي تبديه الجهات الحكومية والأكاديمية والدينية لصون الموروث الثقافي اللامادي في نينوى، حيث شرف الورشة بحضوره كل من:
الأستاذ خالد العبيدي (النائب الفني لمحافظ نينوى).
الأستاذ الدكتور عبد الرحيم ابراهيم (مساعد رئيس جامعة الموصل للشؤون العلمية).
الأب رائد عادل (مسؤول كنيسة السريان الكاثوليك في الموصل).
الدكتور محمد زهير (مدير المعهد الثقافي الفرنسي-العراقي في الموصل).

مع مشاركة فاعلة لجمع غفير من الأساتذة، الباحثين الأكاديميين، المختصين بشؤون الموروث الثقافي واللغات القديمة، إلى جانب عدد من القنوات والمنصات الإعلامية البارزة.

وقد تخللت الورشة نقاشات علمية مستفيضة ومداخلات قيمة من السادة الحضور، ركزت في مجملها على سبل الحفاظ على اللغة السريانية ودعم حضورها الأكاديمي والاجتماعي، بوصفها إرثاً وطنياً جامعاً يمثل ركيزة أساسية من ركائز الهوية الموصلية والعراقية الأصيلة.
وفي ختام الورشة، تقدمت إدارة منظمة لاماسو للثقافة بوافر الشكر والامتنان لشركائها وللشخصيات الحاضرة، مؤكدة أن مثل هذه الفعاليات تمثل خطوة عملية واثقة نحو إرساء قيم التعايش المعرفي وإحياء الموروث اللغوي الرافديني.

In a prestigious cultural event embodying the profound civilizational and linguistic diversity of Mesopotamia, the Lamassu Cultural Organization, in collaboration with the French-Iraqi Cultural Institute in Mosul (ICFI) and the University of Mosul, held a specialized panel discussion this morning, Monday, July 13, 2026, titled "The Syriac Language: A Living Heritage and a Renewed Identity."
Hosted at the hall of the French-Iraqi Cultural Institute, the workshop featured outstanding scholarly presentations delivered by Prof. Dr. Itlal Salem Hanna (Head of the Syriac Language Department at the College of Education for Human Sciences, University of Mosul) and researcher Ms. Lina Wilson. The speakers highlighted the historical and cultural significance of the Syriac language as a living cultural bridge connecting regional civilizations and documenting its renewed human identity.
The distinguished attendance served as a testament to the profound commitment of government, academic, and religious entities to safeguarding the intangible cultural heritage of Nineveh. The workshop was honored by the presence of:
