شيء عظيم ان تمتلك تاريخ يمتد لالاف السنين، لكن الاحسن من ذلك انت تعيش حياة حلوة. جرب ان تدخل على كوكل وتبحث عن صور تصف الحياة في بغداد. ستحصل على صور تعكس كم "السعادة" التي نعيش معها، انفجارات، موت، حواجز كونكريتية بشعة، نقص بالخدمات، والكثير غير ذلك. بالطبع لانستطيع ان ننكر ان هذا كله جزء من حياتنا. ولكن لحياتنا (وجه آخر). يوميا كل واحد منا يقوم بنشاطات عديدة، يذهب لاماكن جميلة، سينما، مسرح، متنز
هات وغيرها. هناك الكثير من الاماكن التي تستحق الزيارة في بغداد.
في نفس الوقت عندما تفكر في الخروج، ستقوم بسؤال احد اصدقائك او اقربائك ، "وين اروح؟". وبالتأكيد هو لا يعرف كل الاماكن في بغداد، وسيجيبك حسب تجربته الشخصية المحدودة.
لنكن صريحين، نحن نسكن في بغداد ولكن لانعرفها جيدا.
من جانب ثاني، الكثير من الاحداث الثقافية، والعلمية تعقد في بغداد، ولكن في معظم الاحيان نسمع عنها بعد انتهائها. وفي هذه الحالة لايوجد لديك شيء لتقوله غير "ليش ماقلتوا لي؟؟؟!!".
لذلك، نحن كفريق قررنا ان نصمم صديق للجميع، موقع الكتروني وتطبيق للموبايل يستطيع ان يخبر الجميع ماذا يحصل في بغداد حاليا. نبحث عن صديق يستطيع اخبار الجميع عن (الوجه الآخر لبغداد).
كل ماتقدم اعلاه الهم فريقنا للاشتراك في اول مسابقة ستارت اب ويكيند عقدت في بغداد للفتره من 27-29 حزيران 2013. طرحنا الفكرة وعملنا على انجازها وضعنا الخطة العملية وبدئنا بتنفيذها. عملنا بجهد عالي على انجاز العمل ونجحنا في احراز المركز الثالث في المسابقة.
يوم بعد يوم نشهد زيادة في عدد افراد فريقنا، وذلك يزيدنا اقتناعا بضرورة الاستمرار لتحقيق هذا الهدف. It is a great thing that you have a history that spanning for thousands of years, but is it is better that we have a good life to live. You will get a lot of images that reflect the "happiness!" that we live with, bombing, death, ugly blocks, lack of services, and many more. But our life has (other face). Every day, each one of us goes to nice places, cinemas, theaters, restaurants, parks, etc... There are so many places in Baghdad that deserve to be visited. On the same time when you decide to go out, you will ask one of your friends or relatives, "Where can I go?". For sure he don't know everything in Baghdad, he/she will tell you about his/her own experience. Let's be frank, we live in Baghdad but we do not know it well! On the other hand, a lot of cultural and scientific events are held in Baghdad, but we always hear about it after it's finished. And in that case all what we can say is "Why you didn't tell me??"
So, we as a group decided to create a friend to all, a website and a mobile application that tell anyone where to go, and what happen in Baghdad now. A friend that can tell us about (The Other Face of Baghdad). All the above inspire our group to participate in the first Baghdad Startup Weekend that held in Baghdad on 27-29 June 2013. We pitched the above idea and worked on it. We put the business model of this project and started to apply it. We worked hard on it and earned the 3rd place in the first Startup Weekend in Baghdad. Day by day this group witnesses an increasing in its members, and we become increasingly convinced of the need to achieve this goal.
