‫يسر مشروع أرشيف العراق الفوتوغرافي ومؤسسة قنطرة دعوتكم للمشاركة في معرض بيت الذاكرة، وهو معرض للصور والقصص والواقع الافتراضي، تستضيفه مؤسسة قنطرة في البصرة (٢٨ شباط – ٣ آذار). يمكنكم المشاركة من خلال إضافة صور عن البصرة خلال القرن العشرين من ارشيفكم الفوتوغرافي الخاص. ‬

‫شاركونا من ارشيفكم صور الحياة اليومية، او الصور العائلية او صور من ذكريات تلك السنوات. ‬

The 𝘐𝘳𝘢𝘲 𝘗𝘩𝘰𝘵𝘰 𝘈𝘳𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘷𝘦 & 𝘘𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘢 𝘍𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 invites you to share your photographs and memories of Basra pre-2000, as part of 𝘏𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘔𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘺, an exhibition of images, stories and Virtual Reality, hosted by 𝘘𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘢 𝘍𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 in Basra, Iraq (28 Feb - Mar 3).

This is Mom's and Dad's first date after getting engaged. Ice Cream date in 1970s Basra.

Do you or a relative have old photographs of Iraq? If so I would be delighted to hear from you. I am looking for pictures primarily from before 1980, depicting Iraqi society, culture, landscape, personal stories, and everyday life.

The Iraq Photo Archive is part of a research project collecting old photographs of Iraq to share its rich history and the stories of diaspora using photography, film, and Virtual Reality. It is a platform for Iraqi diaspora to share images and stories from when they or their relatives lived there.

This archive is for you, created by the images you submit.
