We exist because of you.

Woman who made first schools for girls in colonial India. Woman who had stones and cow dung pelted on her everyday because she decided to teach girls. Woman who worked all her life for women's education.. especially dalit women. All women in India owe their education, their rights, their freedom to her.

आप थीं तो हम हैं।
वो औरत जिसने भारत में बालिकाओं, महिलाओं के लिए पहले स्कूल खोले। वो औरत जिनके ऊपर पत्थर, गोबर फेंका गया हर रोज़ क्योंकि वो लड़कियों को पढ़ना चाहती थी। वो औरत जिन्होंने सारी उम्र महिलाओं की शिक्षा के लिए काम किया.. ख़ासकर दलित महिलाओं के लिए। आज की भारतीय महिला अपनी शिक्षा, अपनी आज़ादी, अपने हक़ के लिए लड़ सकती हैं क्योंकि सावित्रीबाई फुले जैसी औरतों ने सारा जीवन इसपर लगा दिया। हम आपके ऋणी हैं।
